Join Menston Thespians for an evening of laughter, sharp observation and wonderfully relatable characters in Confusions, Alan Ayckbourn’s acclaimed collection of five interconnected one-act plays.
From awkward encounters and chaotic misunderstandings to heartfelt moments and laugh-out-loud comedy, each play explores the everyday confusions of modern life. Although each story stands alone, together they paint a witty and entertaining picture of the challenges, joys and absurdities of human relationships.
Performed by our talented local cast, this production showcases a variety of memorable characters and situations, with many performers taking on multiple roles throughout the evening. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Alan Ayckbourn or discovering his work for the first time, Confusions promises an entertaining night of comedy that is both timeless and surprisingly familiar.

Doors open and the bar will be serving from 6:45pm, with the curtain rising promptly at 7:15pm. Please note that seats are unallocated, so arrive early to pick your favourite spot!

- A Talk in the Park – A chance meeting in the park brings together a collection of wonderfully eccentric characters in a hilarious and poignant finale.
